Richard Macneil Collection

The city is an art canvas, and Macneil is the artist. Macneil is a self-taught artist with a rich history in the creative industry. From his early days working in the Worcester Royal Porcelain, he has dabbled in the fields of sculpture, ceramics, and graphics both in his home country, the UK, as well as expanding his reach abroad.

Macneil established a company in the USA—Bronn—that produced exclusive sculptures of American Western Art. One of his major milestones was seeing his artwork in the Oval Office of the White House. His trademark style was creating appealing art that is accessible to all. His works, many of which were cityscapes, can now be found in greeting cards, art prints, home decor, and stationery.

Yes. Most of Macneil's kits are rated Beginner or Intermediate, with one Advanced piece for a bigger challenge. His clear, well-defined scenes make a great first project, and more experienced painters can reach for the detailed city views.

Several of Macneil's designs come in both. With paint by numbers you fill numbered areas using the included acrylic paints. With diamond painting you place sparkling resin "diamonds" onto a coded canvas for a shimmering, mosaic finish. Both follow a numbered guide, so it's simply a matter of whether you'd rather paint or place.

Absolutely. His city and seascape scenes make striking wall art, especially when you display the city where you live or somewhere you love to travel. At checkout you can choose a rolled canvas, DIY frame, pre-stretched canvas, or canvas board to suit your space.
