Some of the paints were extremely difficult to work with as they would become dry and thick even though I made sure to cover the pots of paint as much as possible. These paints would become so thickened that it was like smearing mud onto the canvas. There were also paints (mostly lighter colored ones) that were quite thin and required two or three coats, which was annoying especially considering that there are many small parts that you have to paint. I hope in the future the quality of paints improve and maintain a better consistency while still being thick enough that the paints cover the numbers on the canvas. I was also not terribly impressed by the quality of the brushes that came with my order. I was happy that my set came with three brushes as the bigger flat brush was useful for covering large portions of the canvas quickly, but the brushes sometimes frayed and some of the hairs stuck out. However, all things considered, the canvas and frame were sturdy, the numbering was clear, and most of the paints were of good quality. I'm taking off 2 stars for the paint quality. 3/5 stars.
