I have enjoyed working on this Venice painting. This is my first adult paint by number and I am addicted. I can sit for hours and not realize how much time has gone by! It's very relaxing. I highly recommend it and I have already ordered my next one.

This painting was very enjoyable to paint. I loved the vibrant colours. There were a few colours that were a bit transparent, so I had to do a few coats to get the numbers to not show through, but overall a great experience painting this one.

It’s so colorful. I love Venice and the painting looks great above my wine cabinet One paint pot was completely dry but I emailed customer care and they shipped a replacement. It took awhile but it came. So happy with my project.

I loved the vivid colors in this picture. Sometimes the darker colors are a little thin and I had to go back over them, but I loved the final picture!
O love doing these paintings. But although the quality of the canvas and paints was probably the best I’ve ever used, many sections were not numbered (even on the paper copy). I have two others in which I cannot do due to an eye problem. Didn’t realize how tiny some spots are and numbers are difficult to read. I wonder if I can exchange for two others not as intricate.
Efficiently packaged. This was a very detailed painting with very small areas to paint. The color reference was used frequently. Needed a magnifying glass to get accurate. Definitely start with the large areas to get a sense of progress. Nice painting but give me a Kandinsky any day.
I got hooked on painting this past winter to keep me busy. This was my 3rd painting. I'm hooked, however, my hand is taking a hit. By chance, can you recommend something to wear to keep carpel tunnel away and also make it easy to paint? Thanks

Not at all! Our kits are designed for both beginners and experienced artists. The numbered guide makes it easy to follow along, and many users find the process meditative and relaxing. Simply match the numbers on the canvas with the numbers on the paint and start creating!
Some colors, mostly yellows, whites, light pinks and pale blues, are semi-transparent, so the printed numbers and lines can show through after one coat. That is normal. Let the first coat dry, then add a second one. Painting the light areas before the dark ones next to them also helps, and avoid adding water, which makes the paint thinner.
If the paint is still wet, wipe it off with a damp cotton swab. If it has dried, simply paint over it with the right color once it is completely dry. Covering a dark color with a light one may need two or three thin coats. Acrylic paint is very forgiving, so a small slip is easy to hide.
Close each pot tightly after use, since acrylic paint dries quickly when left open. If a color has become thick, add one or two drops of water and stir. If it has dried out completely, contact us with the color number: within 60 days of delivery we send replacement paints for free.
It depends on the kit level, the size and your own pace. As a guide, Beginner kits take about a week of relaxed painting, Intermediate kits a little more than a week, and Advanced kits two weeks or more. A larger size or Premium detail adds time. It's not a race, so enjoy the process.
A pre-stretched kit is ready to hang once the paint is dry, with a hanging kit included. A rolled canvas can go on our DIY frame or to a local framer. Our canvases are made in metric sizes (40x50 cm is slightly smaller than 16x20"), so measure the painted area before buying a frame.
