Pre-Stretched on Frame – The canvas arrives already mounted on a wooden stretcher frame. Start painting right away and hang it up as soon as you're done.

First off. I love this painting. I am very happy I got it but more happy that I finally finished it and it’s done.
The BIGGEST downside of this painting was the numbers. They were a pink color and they were written sideways, horizontally and vertically. They were super hard to read and once painted over by another section the number was lost. Also, some of the lighter paints didn’t really cover the spaces but once hung, it’ll be hard to see. Thankfully I reached out to support and they gave me a digital version, yes, helpful, but still a challenge to now find the specific spot I need! I will get more but hopefully they can be like the first kit I painted. (The bookstore one)
First let me state that this was one of the most beautiful, though intricate paint by numbers I have completed thus far. The shaded number patterns were also the best by far that I’ve encountered, considering the 48 colors and the numerous
tiny details. I would have rated this a 5 star were it not for the paint colors I had to deal with. Almost half of the colors just did not seem right to me and about 10 of those were not even close to what was indicated on the color card. I felt a need to make alterations using old paints and by mixing other colors. I was more pleased with that outcome, but It did make this even more labor intensive. Two of the primary color tubs (colors 32 and 45) were only half filled and ran out quickly, while other tubs that were hardly needed were overfilled (seen this happen with prior paint sets - frustrating). The new containers were also particularly messy to handle, especially where paint had accumulated in the lids. Aside from the negatives, I loved the challenge.
Had so much fun painting this canvas.. My son and I had traveled to Italy, a dream of ours to go together, as he was 49 years ago born there...when walking the many streets this canvas was represenative of the many sights we enjoyed in our travels.. I love the colors and the way this canvas turned out...really enjoyed working on, and when finished displaying this memory on my wall..great experience!
Fantastisch! Goede verf, droogt niet uit en dekt goed. de lichtere kleuren dekken wat minder maar je hoeft maar 1x extra over de nummers te gaan. Echt goede kwaliteit
This was the most difficult one that I have done. I had to have the light just right for the tiny little sections. It would take three to four hours to do a small there or four inch Square area.
It is beautiful.
It's a very difficult piece. Very small spaces and very hard to see numbers. But Frank was very helpful and sent the digital print so I could enlarge to see numbers, and I bought a magnifier. I'm really enjoying working on it but it will probably take forever!!
Not at all! Our kits are designed for both beginners and experienced artists. The numbered guide makes it easy to follow along, and many users find the process meditative and relaxing. Simply match the numbers on the canvas with the numbers on the paint and start creating!
Some colors, mostly yellows, whites, light pinks and pale blues, are semi-transparent, so the printed numbers and lines can show through after one coat. That is normal. Let the first coat dry, then add a second one. Painting the light areas before the dark ones next to them also helps, and avoid adding water, which makes the paint thinner.
If the paint is still wet, wipe it off with a damp cotton swab. If it has dried, simply paint over it with the right color once it is completely dry. Covering a dark color with a light one may need two or three thin coats. Acrylic paint is very forgiving, so a small slip is easy to hide.
Close each pot tightly after use, since acrylic paint dries quickly when left open. If a color has become thick, add one or two drops of water and stir. If it has dried out completely, contact us with the color number: within 60 days of delivery we send replacement paints for free.
It depends on the kit level, the size and your own pace. As a guide, Beginner kits take about a week of relaxed painting, Intermediate kits a little more than a week, and Advanced kits two weeks or more. A larger size or Premium detail adds time. It's not a race, so enjoy the process.
A pre-stretched kit is ready to hang once the paint is dry, with a hanging kit included. A rolled canvas can go on our DIY frame or to a local framer. Our canvases are made in metric sizes (40x50 cm is slightly smaller than 16x20"), so measure the painted area before buying a frame.
