The likeness was really good but as you can see when you compare the photo and the painting the colours were very washed out. I decided to make some changes by mixing some of the colours and I was happy with that.
This magnificent owl was a lot of work, but absolutely worth the effort!
Loved the option of getting the image on a board instead of a stretched canvas. Love the buttery quality of the paint! The quality of matching my photo to the image to be painted was excellent.!
This was a Custom of daughters dog, Jax, The picture was so lifelike when finished . The detail and the color combinations of the paints was just right . The canvas was of quality texture and easy to frame when painting completed. I have since sent for another Custom kit - this time of our dog that we lost 2 years ago . I look forward to painting Rusty . Thank you for quality product & service .
I love doing these! I can’t paint free hand, but this helps and the colors are pretty accurate! You may have to improve some of the shading once done, but this is an excellent fun kit!
Great custom canvas! The details were exactly how I wanted and the colors were a great set
Amazing - Can't wait to start my next painting!!!
Loved every bit of this experience. My helper approves as well! Highly recommend!!!
I absolutely love this paint by numbers company! High quality acrylic paint pots, and great detail brushes! This one was intermediate level for me but still relaxing and easy to do!
Love your products. Will order more.
I finished painting the hummingbirds by the same artist. It was difficult to say the least, so when I started the orchids, I thought, oh this is not going to be as difficult as the other one. Well, it was! I have received so many compliments on the paintings. Thank you!
The entire kit was magnificent; esecially the good quality of the paints and brushes. I was disappointed however in my ability to perform the apparant detail necessary for the eyes. My fault. I chose a most "detailed" setting for my custom photo that was a closeup portrait of a woman' face. Extreme detail necessary to properly depict the eyes. When I finished the painting, the eyes just didn't look right. If I ever do another portrait painting it will be on the easiest settings. Right now I'm going back to your landscape paintings.
I’m an artist so I changed something’s and the friend I made. It for absolutely loves it!
Love doing paint by number from a photo I took. So special.
This was a custom made from a photo I sent in. Came out beautiful and gave as a gift and it brought tears to my!
Another PBN project that turned out beautifully. This one is easier than some of the previous ones that I had done, so I categorize it as being Intermediate. It looks beautiful above my dressing table and I enjoy looking at it just as much as I enjoyed painting it. I am totally addicted! Monica B.
Love the paint by numbers and these brushes are a must!! I can’t wait to order more!
Love your company!! I always am so amazed at how the painting look like the people I’m painting.
These brushes are the BEST I've ever used. An absolute must for the teensy tiny paint designs. And the soft pouch the brushes are delivered in smells like leather! 👍 Love this product.
Painting kit brushes can suck, but these don’t!
Using the paint brushes for the first time. The jury is still out whether they are worth it.
This painting turned out better than I could’ve expected! It is a beautiful way to show your love for another.
After our cat passed away, we were all devastated. I found this site, uploaded a favorite photo of our beloved McLovin, and within a couple of weeks my canvas arrived. The packaging was great, and everything I needed was included. And now I am doing them for my friends and family! Here’s my little queen, McLovin
I'm glad I bought the these brushes. The ones with the tiny bristles are absolutely neccessary for a beginner like myself. These brushes hold up. The bristles do not fall out.
I am very pleased to report that I have enjoyed painting by numbers my beloved pet dog. I didn’t think I would have been able to do it, but it turned out fantastic in my eyes. I truly captured the look of my dog Maya. She came to life in this portrait. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I am now going to place an order for my next pet.
I loved the painting and It did come at a reasonable time. The only thing wrong was one of my paints (a blue color) was not as good quality as the others. It did not cover well and took several coats to cover, and became dry and very hard to use after only a couple uses. And I do put the lids back on in between uses. I had to go to a local Michael’s and paint match so I can finish it. Other than that I loved it and it has been very relaxing. Thank you! Picture below, still not finished.
These brushes are fantastic.I am currently using them on a Schipper painting.
This is the first set I have bought since I started in on PBN about a year and a half ago. I love having the graduations and the weasel bristles are superior to the synthetic brushes I have been using. I have included a painting that had so much tiny detail which would have driven me crazy in the past
Nothing makes me happier than recreating a great work of art via paint by numbers. The new brushes I purchased from CBN make a big difference!
I love the new brushes especially for fine detailing. The project I'm working on now is the most advanced I've attempted and without these new brushes I wouldn't be able to get the results I'm getting. Have many more enjoyable hours left on this painting to complete, but it is coming along nicely.
Loved it

Paints are of excellent quality and so is the canvas.
Still working on it and love every step of the way! - Jim B.
I gave it to a friend for Christmas and was enthusiastic
Fine brushes, but I would like few more of the really tiny ones.
Such a relaxing project, and makes a great gift once completed.
Helpful.
Peaceful, meaningful, relaxing.
Nice brushes…much better than the ones that come with the kit.
