- Rolled (No Frame) – The canvas is shipped rolled inside a sturdy PVC tube. It’s easy to store, travel with, or take to your local framer.
- DIY Frame – You receive a rolled canvas plus four wooden stretcher bars. Simply assemble the frame, stretch the canvas at home, and enjoy a snug, custom fit.
- Pre-Stretched on Frame – The canvas arrives already mounted on a wooden stretcher frame. Start painting right away and hang it up as soon as you're done.
- Canvas Board – The canvas is securely fixed to a 0.2-inch thick wooden panel, giving you a sturdy, warping-resistant surface ideal for tabletop painting.

Nature's Quiet Harmony
Originally titled Rehe im Schnee, or Deer in the Snow, this piece shows Franz Marc capturing a moment of stillness between the deer and their winter surroundings, using cool tones and simplified, abstract shapes to convey that connection rather than pure realism.
Simplicity That Still Says Something
The abstract, simplified forms make this beginner-friendly kit approachable in technique, while the cool, harmonious color palette still requires attention to subtle winter tones throughout.
More of Marc's Animal and Nature Studies
If this quiet, symbolic approach to nature interests you, our Franz Marc collection includes more of his expressive animal portraits across different seasons and moods.
A Tranquil Winter Piece for the Home
This painting's cool, calm palette makes it a fitting addition to a study or living room, especially during the winter months.
