Choose the finish that best fits how you like to paint and display your artwork:
- Rolled (No Frame) – The canvas is shipped rolled inside a sturdy PVC tube. It’s easy to store, travel with, or take to your local framer.
- DIY Frame – You receive a rolled canvas plus four wooden stretcher bars. Simply assemble the frame, stretch the canvas at home, and enjoy a snug, custom fit.
- Pre-Stretched on Frame – The canvas arrives already mounted on a wooden stretcher frame. Start painting right away and hang it up as soon as you're done.
- Canvas Board – The canvas is securely fixed to a 0.2-inch thick wooden panel, giving you a sturdy, warping-resistant surface ideal for tabletop painting.

A Detail Pulled From a Larger Work
This portrait comes from Botticelli's larger painting "Virgin and Child with the Infant St. John the Baptist," isolating Mary's face to let her expression carry the full weight of the piece. Botticelli's Renaissance style shows clearly here, in the graceful lines and soft, deliberate color that made him one of Florence's defining painters.
Softness That Takes Patience
The delicate shading in the face calls for a careful, unhurried approach, since so much of the portrait's beauty comes from subtle gradations rather than sharp contrast. It's part of why this kit sits at the advanced end of the range.
More Renaissance Portraiture to Explore
If Botticelli's graceful style appeals to you, our Sandro Botticelli collection includes more of his Renaissance portraits and religious works.
A Timeless Piece for Reflection
This portrait suits a quiet room well, particularly around Easter, when its themes of grace and devotion feel especially fitting. Pair it with Venus (detail), another of Botticelli's serene Renaissance portraits.
