This was fun! Took me a while to complete.( having a 3 year old that wants to paint all over the canvas means I had to be stealth and do it during my alone time lol). There are many very small boxes, making the number hard to read. BUT, the reference sheet they give made that simple to figure out! Highly recommend their canvases if you enjoy painting.
Love how is turning out ! (I’m almost finished) The finishing is a coat of satin gel medium (smoothes brush strokes, brightens colors, unifies paint shines, and adds an overall “wet” look, and satin varnish to seal and protect.
Still working on it but love doing it! Can't wait to do another one. Relaxing and enjoyable. Great product!

I so LOVE this hobby and have done a number of pieces, but never something this challenging!!! It took me a couple of months and I still need to do some touchups, but I absolutely LOVE this piece!! This isn’t for a beginner and I would recommend professional brushes to buy so you can really do a great job going into the corners! I’m really happy that I discovered this company and I now am a customer for life!! This kind of hobby is very relaxing, therapeutic and so enjoyable when you see the progress of a piece that you can’t wait to put up on your wall! I love how this painting turned out. The paint has a gloss to it which makes it shine a bit. I love the colors in this piece. I painted it as a gift for my daughter who loves all things Halloween. The only reason I took one star off is the original picture on the website has many more details that were not carried over into the actual paint by number. Customer service is great. I was missing a color and they sent it out right away.

Not at all! Our kits are designed for both beginners and experienced artists. The numbered guide makes it easy to follow along, and many users find the process meditative and relaxing. Simply match the numbers on the canvas with the numbers on the paint and start creating!
Some colors, mostly yellows, whites, light pinks and pale blues, are semi-transparent, so the printed numbers and lines can show through after one coat. That is normal. Let the first coat dry, then add a second one. Painting the light areas before the dark ones next to them also helps, and avoid adding water, which makes the paint thinner.
If the paint is still wet, wipe it off with a damp cotton swab. If it has dried, simply paint over it with the right color once it is completely dry. Covering a dark color with a light one may need two or three thin coats. Acrylic paint is very forgiving, so a small slip is easy to hide.
Close each pot tightly after use, since acrylic paint dries quickly when left open. If a color has become thick, add one or two drops of water and stir. If it has dried out completely, contact us with the color number: within 60 days of delivery we send replacement paints for free.
It depends on the kit level, the size and your own pace. As a guide, Beginner kits take about a week of relaxed painting, Intermediate kits a little more than a week, and Advanced kits two weeks or more. A larger size or Premium detail adds time. It's not a race, so enjoy the process.
A pre-stretched kit is ready to hang once the paint is dry, with a hanging kit included. A rolled canvas can go on our DIY frame or to a local framer. Our canvases are made in metric sizes (40x50 cm is slightly smaller than 16x20"), so measure the painted area before buying a frame.
Most orders ship from our California or Texas locations and arrive in 3 to 7 business days in the US. Canvas board kits and orders outside the US take 7 to 14 business days. The Shipping Information tab on this page shows the estimate for this item.

Spooky Festival packs pumpkins, ghosts and witches into one fall landscape, but it does not draw them realistically. Shapes are stylized and colors are pushed, so orange pumpkins glow against dark skies and the whole scene feels a little dreamlike.
Start with the dark sky and background shapes. With those in place, the bright oranges, yellows and whites pop as soon as you add them. Leave the faces of the pumpkins and ghosts for last, since they give the painting its character. Work in good light, because the darker colors can look alike in a dim room.
