I was very happy with how this kit turned out. I selected the 48 color option. There was one color where two paint pods were provided. There were five colors (10, 14,20, 31,35) where I ran out of paint and had to subsitute a similar color. I thought the end product turned out well but it's annoying to pay for the upgraded paints and not have enough of them. That said, I was still very happy with the end product.
This was my first, so the Van Gogh estate won't be feeling challenged. 😀 I learned so much and it is such a relaxing way to get your mind off of things. Will order another.
Had a blast… until I didn’t. By the end, I was questioning every life decision that led me to not ask for a reference sheet. The tiny numbers on the 40x50 were like a secret code I wasn’t in on. Maybe I should’ve just gotten the 'I can actually see this' version.
Also, small brushes are your best friend unless you want to live dangerously with big ones. Oh, and heads up: colors 18, 21, 27, and 14? Yeah, they went rogue and don’t play nice with the rest of the palette. But hey, it was an adventure!
Stunning canvas with beautiful rendering! Materials are high quality—plenty of high-quality paint. I’ve used other companies’ products and this is by far the best.
Challenging and enjoyable to paint with a great finished product. So far, my favorite!
I’m hooked on these excellent paint by number kits with a more than satisfying result. One suggestion after finishing your painting go back over areas still showing some lines, blending the colors will add to the final look.
I am loving my 10th Canvas by Numbers currently in progress. I find that the works by Impressionist painters are more forgiving with the very small areas, while also providing beautiful results. This is such a rewarding hobby and valuable therapy.
This was one of the longest paint project’s I’ve taken on since starting painting 2 years ago. I wish my clouds were as good as Van Goph’s … it’s a beautiful scene regardless.
I loved this painting. The paints were great, good coverage on all but the lightest colors, and the spaces were numbered multiple times, if needed. I didn't have to spend time tracing convoluted shapes.
I’ve done an embarrassing number of paint by numbers during the pandemic and this is one of my favorites. The colors are beautiful. No second coats needed. Good amount of detail. No paper number map was included but I took pictures of the canvas before painting and used them when I messed up. Highly recommend.
Item arrived in good condition. One note, I ordered from here to avoid an issue I had with paint colors being off when I bought from another seller online (“painting by numbers”). Turns out this seller clearly used the same manufacturer. I emailed the other company about this but - they simply don't have the colors correct. The oranges are yellow and the reds are orange. For the item I bought it's not an issue really, but just want to warn others if you are looking at a painting with a lot of deep orange tones, it's probably not going to look like that in reality. The paints are typical PBN quality though. Also this item ships from China, even though the shop is US based. That isn't super clear unless you read all the shop policies.
Looking forward to painting this one but probably won't buy here again, sorry!
I'm still working on it. The interesting part is to discover how Van Gogh painted with thick, forceful smears of paint. So it's not a simple matter of coloring in the numbered spots
First let me say that this item comes from China; not sure why we are unable to print numbers on canvas in America but be warned if you order from here it will be a long time before you get your order. Took around a month to come from China. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift but sat in customs clearance for well over a week. When the item arrived it was beat to hell and back and some how the included items were open and thrown about the inside of the box. the canvas is cheap and flimsy and not quality and the paints are the same little plastic paints you get from the dollar store.
do not buy. go to dollar tree spend 5 $ and get better quality.

Good quality paints came in a very nice plastic see thru case. The canvas was also a good quality.
The painting itself will be very challenging but I alwasy enjoy the difficult ones, I just take my time while listening to an audible book.
I would definitely buy from this person again.
Everything I need but the numbers are extremely light( realize lines and numbers are faint because you don't want them visible through the paint but it's d$&*n hard to read the numbers. BUT I am having fun but this project is going to take much longer. KGS
I recently purchased the paint by number of The Sea at Les Saintes by Van Gogh. Love the seascape.
Colors are very nice. This is exactly what I expected. I received enough paint to finish this project as I ordered a larger size. At this time I’ve only completed about a third of the painting. All is going well. My experience with Canvas by numbers has been great!
The Sea at Les Saintes carries a small but telling detail: grains of sand have actually been found within the paint layers, evidence that Van Gogh painted this scene directly on the beach at Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. That immediacy is part of what gives the piece its energy.
Palette Knife Waves
Rather than relying purely on brushwork, Van Gogh used a palette knife to apply thick strokes of green and yellow into the blue and white waves, capturing how light breaks across moving water. Recreating that texture in paint by numbers means building up color with intention rather than flat fills.
The Mediterranean Through Van Gogh's Eyes
This piece sits among his most vivid seascapes in our Van Gogh collection, capturing his enthusiasm for the Mediterranean's color during his time in the south of France.
A Textured, Coastal Piece for the Home
This painting's bold, energetic color makes it a strong choice for a study or living room that could use a bit of coastal vibrancy. For one of Van Gogh's most famous night scenes, see our Cafe Terrace at Night kit, or for the diamond version of this same seascape, see our The Sea at Les Saintes Diamond Painting kit.
