What Are Day of the Dead Paint by Numbers Placemats?
These are six numbered placemat designs, each built around a decorated skull, or calavera, covered in flowers, swirls and ornaments. You paint them like any paint by numbers project, and once they are dry they go on the table as festive place settings for Día de los Muertos on November 1 and 2.
How to Use Them for the Holiday
Since there are six, they work well as a group activity. Give each person at the table their own skull to paint in the weeks before the holiday, then set them out at the celebration meal.
