Frequently Asked Questions
It is a themed set of four to nine small canvases in one kit. Each canvas is its own design, so you can paint them one at a time and display them together.
Your mini canvases, all the acrylic paint needed, three paintbrushes and a detailed reference layout.
Every canvas in a set is the same size. You can see it in the Size option on this page.
You can choose No Frame (rolled canvas), DIY Frame, Pre-stretched on Frame or Canvas Board. Canvas Board sets need extra processing time, so allow a little longer for delivery.
Not at all! Our kits are designed for both beginners and experienced artists. The numbered guide makes it easy to follow along, and many users find the process meditative and relaxing. Simply match the numbers on the canvas with the numbers on the paint and start creating!
Some colors, mostly yellows, whites, light pinks and pale blues, are semi-transparent, so the printed numbers and lines can show through after one coat. That is normal. Let the first coat dry, then add a second one. Painting the light areas before the dark ones next to them also helps, and avoid adding water, which makes the paint thinner.
If the paint is still wet, wipe it off with a damp cotton swab. If it has dried, simply paint over it with the right color once it is completely dry. Covering a dark color with a light one may need two or three thin coats. Acrylic paint is very forgiving, so a small slip is easy to hide.
At Canvas by Numbers, we're proud of our exceptional customer service. Understanding the intricacies of art creation, we offer a 60-day guarantee where we'll send extra paints for free should you run out of any color.

Halloween Meets the Wild West
Skeleton cowboys, ghost wranglers and a pink cowgirl cat bring a dusty frontier feel to spooky season. The soft pastel desert palette, more cotton candy than campfire, makes this set fun for anyone who loves Western decor as much as October.
Paint Together, Yeehaw Optional
Split the six canvases between friends, kids or a date night. Paint the pastel skies and desert ground first, then the characters, and add lassos, hat bands and other small details last. Each canvas fits into a single evening.
The pastels keep it sweet rather than scary, so it works for younger painters too. Hang them in a row along a hallway or prop them up on a bar cart. See more in our mini paint by numbers kits or browse all Halloween paint by numbers kits.
