Richard Macneil samling

Several of Macneil's designs come in both. With paint by numbers you fill numbered areas using the included acrylic paints. With diamond painting you place sparkling resin "diamonds" onto a coded canvas for a shimmering, mosaic finish. Both follow a numbered guide, so it's simply a matter of whether you'd rather paint or place.

Tips for Painting City Scenes

Sky and buildings first

Fill the large sky and wall areas before the people and shop fronts.

Small figures last

Use the fine brush for shoppers, windows and signs.

Snow and light

In London in Snow, paint the white areas carefully so they stay crisp.

Take your time

Spread a detailed street scene over a few evenings, working one block at a time.
