Japanese Diamond Painting Kits
Japanese woodblock prints are built from clean lines and flat areas of color, which makes them a natural fit for diamond painting. This collection features Katsushika Hokusai and Kawase Hasui, two of the best known names in Japanese art, plus a few original designs inspired by them. Each Japanese diamond painting kit includes a coded adhesive canvas, resin drills, pen, wax and tray.

Why they work in drills
Flat color areas and crisp outlines mean each section fills cleanly, so the print style stays sharp in sparkle.
Square drills for a print look
Square drills sit edge to edge and give a smooth, graphic finish that suits woodblock prints.
Round drills for shimmer
Round drills sparkle more, which makes snow, water and moonlight glow.
About the Japanese Artists
Katsushika Hokusai
Hokusai made The Great Wave off Kanagawa around 1831 as part of his series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Its deep blues and curling foam are some of the most copied images in the world.
Kawase Hasui
Hasui was a leader of the shin-hanga movement in the early 20th century. His prints of temples, snow, rain and quiet evenings capture the mood of a place, which is lovely to rebuild drill by drill.
