Customer photo review of Antibes Seen from the Salis Gardens

I got the large stretched canvas, 48 colors, and extra paint (a must)! As usual, these are high quality materials-I use my own brushes and paint with fine detail brushes under a magnifying light. This took over 100 hours. Started with clear gesso, used a few drops of Flo aid per pot and finished with gloss varnish-I love it--so polished looking. The extra paint lets you go back and finish with smooth, long brushstrokes and cover any spots. Enjoy!

Antibes Seen from the Salis Gardens

I’ve done over 30 PBN kits from many different vendors. I find the Canvas by Numbers to be high quality. First the selection is the best I’ve ever seen, the difficulty is exactly what I wanted and the canvas was rolled instead of folded. The end result is beautiful. However the paint quality was a bit frustrating at times. Some of the paint pods were thin and thick at the same time requiring a lot of layers to get an even color but often looked clumpy on the canvas.
