Roulée (sans châssis) – La toile est expédiée roulée dans un tube en PVC solide. Facile à stocker, à transporter ou à emmener chez votre encadreur local.
Châssis à monter soi-même – Vous recevez une toile roulée ainsi que quatre barres de châssis en bois. Il vous suffit d’assembler le cadre, d’étirer la toile chez vous, et de profiter d’un ajustement parfait et personnalisé.
Pré-étirée sur châssis – La toile arrive déjà montée sur un châssis en bois. Commencez à peindre immédiatement et accrochez-la dès que vous avez terminé.
Toile sur panneau – La toile est solidement fixée à un panneau en bois de 0,2 pouce d'épaisseur, vous offrant une surface robuste et résistante à la déformation, idéale pour la peinture sur table.
Quatre conseils clés pour choisir votre image :
1. Résolution/Qualité de l’image : Plus elle est nette, mieux c’est.
2. Distance par rapport à la caméra : Plus le sujet est proche de la caméra, plus nous pouvons capturer de détails. Les gros plans fonctionnent le mieux.
3. Éclairage : Optez pour des photos éclairées de manière uniforme. La lumière doit venir de l’angle de la caméra. Évitez les contre-jours intenses, les ombres sur les sujets, les photos sombres ou les filtres colorés.
4. Taille de la toile : Les grandes toiles capturent plus de détails. Choisissez au moins 16x20 pouces pour les images complexes. Assurez-vous que votre photo correspond au ratio de la toile (c’est-à-dire choisissez une toile carrée si votre photo est carrée).
Important : Évitez toute petite police sur votre image. Il est très difficile pour le logiciel de peinture par numéros de capturer et de rendre les petites polices lisibles. Veuillez noter qu’il est de votre responsabilité de vous assurer que votre photo respecte les exigences. Choisir des images conformes à ces directives garantit les meilleurs résultats. "The Storming Buffalo" was born out of a Facebook picture that was repeated 3 years later.
A farmer out of one of the provinces in South Africa wanted to hear if I can do a painting of a buffalo for him.
I asked Canvas By Numbers to convert a small picture into an A0 size. This presented some import issues at the borders of my country. We settled for the paint sets and a PDF version of the final product.
I printed it in SA and the framer pasted it on a backing board. This worked much easier than a block canvas.
After painting it, my "team" helped me get it to and from the framer, wrap it especially for a 900 kilometer road to its owner and then it was transported to the owner.
The video shows the surprise delivery and the farmer and his wife's absolute joy in receiving his requested painting.
They comment about having no words, wanting to cry and the character of the buffalo.
Will I do this kind of project along with CBN again? FOR SURE!!!

My partner and I had our boy Bruce for 11.5 years. When we had to put him down my Mom bought us a gift card for Canvas to pick out a photo and get a painting. I’m so glad that my Mom did. This was an immersive and fun project; I was proud to gift it as a housewarming present and excited to hear the reaction when it was received. Although I was skeptical at first that I would have enough paint in those tiny containers, clearly it was more than enough and I had some left over in each. My beloved little Maltese,Princess, died in my arms on December 7, 2025. She was my "heart" dog, my potty pal, therapy dog and she cared for me well. After she died, I wanted to honor her and doing the custom paint by number of her helped me with my grief. Men siffrorna på tavlan är tydliga och färgerna lätta att arbeta med. Tavlan blir en fin present till min son som tycker om den här stilen på konst.
Dock har jag behövt köpa ett förstoringsglas med lampa i för att inte bli trött i ögonen. Tavlan har många små detaljer.
