Choose the finish that best fits how you like to paint and display your artwork:
- Rolled (No Frame) – The canvas is shipped rolled inside a sturdy PVC tube. It’s easy to store, travel with, or take to your local framer.
- DIY Frame – You receive a rolled canvas plus four wooden stretcher bars. Simply assemble the frame, stretch the canvas at home, and enjoy a snug, custom fit.
- Pre-Stretched on Frame – The canvas arrives already mounted on a wooden stretcher frame. Start painting right away and hang it up as soon as you're done.
- Canvas Board – The canvas is securely fixed to a 0.2-inch thick wooden panel, giving you a sturdy, warping-resistant surface ideal for tabletop painting.

Geavanceerd: voor wie van details houdt! Deze kits bevatten kleine onderdelen voor een ingewikkelde afwerking en het kan twee weken of langer duren om ze te voltooien. Bereid je voor op een verbluffend gedetailleerd meesterwerk!
Houd er rekening mee dat onze kitniveaus slechts een richtlijn zijn. Iedereen schildert in zijn eigen tempo, dus op basis van je ervaring kan het zijn dat je een kit gemakkelijker of moeilijker vindt dan verwacht. Veel schilderplezier!

🎨 Standaard Detail – Perfect voor de meeste kunstenaars! Met 24-32 kleuren biedt deze optie de juiste balans tussen soepele kleurovergangen en prachtige details. Je krijgt een geweldig eindresultaat zonder te veel extra uren aan schilderen te besteden.
🖌 Premium Detail – Wil je een uitdaging? Onze Premium kits gebruiken 48 kleuren voor de meest ingewikkelde details en een rijkere kleurdiepte. Het kost iets meer tijd om te voltooien, maar het uiteindelijke meesterwerk is het absoluut waard!

About the Original Artwork
This is a painting based upon the print Pines in Clear Weather After Snow from Kawase Hasui. It represents the beautiful intersection of snow at the moment it falls and right before it settles as air clears and light comes through; Kawase Hasui was known often for his winter prints in tranquil settings where nature felt fragile yet powerful. The curve of the pine limbs gives a beautiful rhythm even on canvas filled with thick snow. It became quite meditative to paint.
Why Painting In Winter is More Relaxing
Snow isn't as dramatic as scenes from other seasons, so one is drawn into calmness. Because when painting winter snow, one is layering soft colors such as cool blues, warm shadows, and highlights, this kit gives a concise approach instead of complex. You can work through it easily mindfully to create something beautiful as it gives more of a stylized flow than a stressful impact.
Japanese Woodblock Print Style Translated to Painting
Even though this was originally a print, this kit allows for a translation of Hasui's delicate composition onto painting scale. You follow the curve of the pines, the gentle edges of snow fill in, and the sky is built up to be almost not there. This is a great project for anyone who loves Japanese art or has an appreciation for quiet stories told as imagery in the winter.
