🎨 Standard Detail – A great choice for a simpler, more relaxed painting experience. With 24–32 colors, it offers nice detail and a beautiful finished piece while keeping the project easier and quicker to complete.

🖌 Premium Detail – Our most popular option for the best overall result. With 48 colors, you’ll get finer details, smoother shading, and a more realistic finished painting. It takes a bit more time, but the extra depth and richness make it well worth it.

ℹ️ Please Note – The image shown is the original artwork for reference. We convert this artwork into a numbered painting design, so some differences in colors, fine details, and overall appearance may occur.

Paul Klee, Painter and Musician

Paul Klee was born near Bern in 1879 to a music teacher father and a singer mother, and he played the violin seriously all his life. He later taught at the Bauhaus in Germany during the 1920s. Music shaped how he thought about painting, as rhythm, repetition and tempo spread across a surface.

Small Rhythmic Landscape shows that thinking clearly, with trees placed like notes on a staff.

Klee and the Discovery of Color

For years Klee worked mostly in line. In April 1914 he traveled to Tunisia with August Macke and Louis Moilliet, and the light there changed him. He wrote in his diary that color had taken hold of him, that he and color were one, and that he was now a painter.

From then on he worked freely across color fields, small signs and drawing, and he left behind close to ten thousand works.

How to Paint This Paul Klee Paint by Numbers

The design is soft and hazy rather than sharp. The golden field is the broad background, and the round tree tops sit on it in green, teal and yellow, each with a little brown trunk. Paint the field first, then the trees, and add the tiny flecks of color last.

Where Small Rhythmic Landscape Looks Best

The warm golds and soft greens glow gently rather than shout, so it sits well in a bedroom, a study or a music room. Musicians may enjoy the idea in the title, a landscape you could almost read like a score.

It is relaxing and forgiving. Find more in our Paul Klee paint by numbers range, or browse landscape paint by numbers for calm country views.
