It depends on the kit level, the size and your own pace. As a guide, Beginner kits take about a week of relaxed painting, Intermediate kits a little more than a week, and Advanced kits two weeks or more. A larger size or Premium detail adds time. It's not a race, so enjoy the process.
Yes, safety is a top priority for us. The paints used in our kits are water-based, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Likewise, the materials in our diamond painting kits are non-hazardous. Always use the kits as directed and keep them out of reach of small children.
Six Dogs, Six Everyday Moments
Dogs at Home is painted in a realistic style, so each pup keeps its true coat colors and breed features. The charm is in the settings: every scene catches a dog doing what dogs really do at home, sprawled out, curled up or making itself comfortable exactly where it should not be.
Is Dogs at Home a Beginner Set?
It is better suited to a painter with a little practice. The soft shading in the fur and the finer details mean you will settle in over a few sittings. A good approach is to paint the room around each dog first, then the coat from darkest to lightest, and the eyes and nose last.
A Gallery Wall for Dog Lovers
Hang all six together or spread them around the house. They also make warm handmade gifts for a friend whose dog matches one of the breeds. For other themed sets, including our Puppy Love Collection, explore our mini paint by numbers kits.
