Diamond art relaxes me. Destresses me. I love doing actual photos or pieces that are meaningful to me. This one of my college friends gathered after one of our own died is perfect. So glad I discovered this site.
I had NO idea what diamond painting was,(I thought it was just sparkling paints🤣), so I was very surprised at what arrived in the mail. At first I DIDN’T think I would like it, but I spent the money so decided to try it. I was amazed at much I enjoyed doing it and watching the picture come to life( so to speak). This is my 5th canvas by number, and the second one where I sent in an image to have them print for me to paint. I love the paints, most all of them cover well, and the flow is nice.
This image is a Kalachakra, a Tibetan Buddhist mandala. I started the project February 20th, and finished it today. On average I spent 3 hours per day, having recently retired. Now to take it to get it matted and then will get a frame and proudly hang it in my home.

Only one thing. I sent for a picture and accidentally chose paint instead of Diamond art. I also asked to see a preview of picture and never received and maybe I would have caught that I ordered wrong item if I could have seen the preview. I emailed the support desk and was told I needed to send an email asking for this. I did send it in the message on your order page but I never got a preview. No accommodations were made and most companies would have made it good for the paying customer. :(.

I have now done 6 diamond art projects One was a gift to my daughter who just got married. My other daughter begged me to do one of her two kids. I absolutely love dong these. It is very relaxing.
Still a work in progress. My hands are not what they used to be, so I can only work for 30-60 minutes at a time. I love how real the picture looks and am extremely excited to complete to see the finished product. This is a gift for my granddaughter and I know she will love it! I will be ordering more when this is completed as I have 4 more grandkids and will need to do one for them as well.

It depends on the kit level, the size and your own pace. As a guide, Beginner kits take about a week of relaxed painting, Intermediate kits a little more than a week, and Advanced kits two weeks or more. A larger size or Premium detail adds time. It's not a race, so enjoy the process.
