I love London and Londoners. That may be why I took such an interest in this work. I noted a very similar offering of a Manhattan street scene. In this painting I can actually feel the wet snow flakes on my face and the early winter chill on my skin. The reason for not giving this 5 stars is related to paint quality issues. Two of the primary paints that contribute to the building colors weren’t even close to those on the color card. I had to mix in some other paints to make it all look better. Several other paints seemed too thin for acrylics as it took 5 or 6 coats to cover what was underneath. The canvas numbering was done well considering that the many tinier areas were so intricate. A lot more to work with, but that’s what makes it enjoyable for me.
