Choose the finish that best fits how you like to paint and display your artwork:
- Rolled (No Frame) – The canvas is shipped rolled inside a sturdy PVC tube. It’s easy to store, travel with, or take to your local framer.
- DIY Frame – You receive a rolled canvas plus four wooden stretcher bars. Simply assemble the frame, stretch the canvas at home, and enjoy a snug, custom fit.
- Pre-Stretched on Frame – The canvas arrives already mounted on a wooden stretcher frame. Start painting right away and hang it up as soon as you're done.
- Canvas Board – The canvas is securely fixed to a 0.2-inch thick wooden panel, giving you a sturdy, warping-resistant surface ideal for tabletop painting.

It depends on the kit level, the size and your own pace. As a guide, Beginner kits take about a week of relaxed painting, Intermediate kits a little more than a week, and Advanced kits two weeks or more. A larger size or Premium detail adds time. It's not a race, so enjoy the process.

A Steam Train Paint by Numbers for Railroad Fans
The Harvest Line shows a vintage steam locomotive crossing a stone arch bridge, with cars trailing behind and smoke rising into the air. Around it, birch trees and hillsides blaze with fall color and mountains fade into the distance. It captures the romance of rail travel in the age of steam.
Model railroaders, train lovers and anyone who grew up near the tracks will enjoy it.
Where the Detail Is
The engine carries most of the fine work: brass fittings, rivets, rods and spoked wheels. The sky, mountains and foliage are looser and more relaxing. Paint the background first, then the bridge, and finish with the locomotive so its edges stay sharp.
Where to Hang The Harvest Line
It suits a den, a study or a train room, and looks right from September through Thanksgiving. Find more designs among our paint by numbers kits.
