Paul Cézanne Paint by Numbers Kits
Paul Cézanne (1839 to 1906) was the Post-Impressionist from Aix-en-Provence who built nature out of solid blocks of color. His apples, mountains and card players look simple, but their structure inspired the Cubists and much of modern art. That patchwork of color planes is exactly why Cézanne paintings work so well as paint by numbers. Our Paul Cézanne paint by numbers kits range from still lifes to Provençal landscapes and figures.

Getting to Know Cézanne
Something solid and lasting
Cézanne exhibited with the Impressionists but wanted, in his own words, to make of Impressionism "something solid and durable, like the art of the museums." He painted slowly, building each form from small, deliberate patches of color, and returned to the same apples and the same mountain for years.
Painting him by numbers
Most kits here are rated intermediate: shapes are clear, but tones shift gently across each fruit and hillside. The Basket of Apples, Pyramid of Skulls and The Blue Vase also come as diamond paintings, for example The Basket of Apples diamond painting.
