It depends on the kit level, the size and your own pace. As a guide, Beginner kits take about a week of relaxed painting, Intermediate kits a little more than a week, and Advanced kits two weeks or more. A larger size or Premium detail adds time. It's not a race, so enjoy the process.

Black Cats in the Study
Black Cats & Spellbooks sets six small scenes in a cozy study: black cats in witch hats reading spellbooks by candlelight, with pumpkins, plaid blankets, checkered floors and moonlit windows. Black cats have been linked with witches for centuries in European folklore, which makes them Halloween's favorite animal.
A Relaxing Evening Project
Each canvas is small enough to finish in one evening, which makes this a calm way to unwind during spooky season. Rich orange, green and black give strong contrast. Paint the checkered floors and windows first, then the cats, and add the candle glow last so it stands out against the dark fur.
A Gift for a Spooky Season Fan
The set makes a thoughtful gift for a cat owner, a book lover or a friend who decorates the day October starts. Find more small projects in our Mini Paint by Numbers collection or browse all Halloween paint by numbers kits.
