It depends on the kit level, the size and your own pace. As a guide, Beginner kits take about a week of relaxed painting, Intermediate kits a little more than a week, and Advanced kits two weeks or more. A larger size or Premium detail adds time. It's not a race, so enjoy the process.

A Gentle, Faith-Filled Take on Fall
Not everyone wants skulls on the mantel in October. Autumn Faith & Blessings offers six peaceful harvest scenes instead: an angel carrying a lantern, Jesus holding a pumpkin, a dove of peace over the harvest, a little church under the moon, Jesus with a black cat on the crescent moon and a lamb in a pumpkin field.
Is This a Good First Paint by Numbers?
Minis are the easiest place to start: fewer colors per canvas, bigger sections and quick results. The palette sticks to gentle harvest oranges, golds and soft blues, so it is relaxing to work with.
It makes a lovely activity for a church group, a Sunday school class or a grandparent and grandchild painting together. Once finished, the six canvases make a warm display for a mantel or entryway, and they pack away flat until next fall.
